How do I know if I am a Trained Leader?

YOUTH PROTECTION POLICY CHANGE EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2010

Effective January 1, 2011; we will begin requiring all Cubmasters, Scoutmasters, Venture and Exploring Advisors to be trained by the end of the year.... In 2012 we will begin requiring all Den Leaders, Webelos Leaders, Assistant Scoutmasters and anyone else with direct contact to be trained. Training will be a requirement to charter a unit.

Online Learning Center (OLC) can be found at MyScouting.org

Youth Protection must be updated every 2 Years.

Note: If you re-charter in a new Leader Specific position you are/will be required to take the training for that position.
